Remi

My story

Seeking a home for Remi, a 2 year old Redbone Coonhound that I've been fostering for the past year. He is a very beautiful dog with a goofy personality. He is very affectionate and good with people. He would benefit from a family home where there would be someone with him most times of the day and where he is the only pet in the house. He has a beautiful deep howl. He was rescued as a puppy from someone using abusive training techniques and since has been trained using positive reinforcement. He has done really well, becoming much more relaxed and trusting. Remi is not great with other dogs and cats. He also has allergies that require regular maintenance through bathing, ear-cleaning and maintaining his hypoallergenic diet. Allergies shots have benefitted him in the past as well. He would do well with an experienced handler who has had big dogs in the past.
