My story

Hi there. My name is Lincoln Loud, and yes—once I know you, I live up to the name. I’ll be honest right away: I’m a shy guy at first. New places and new people can feel pretty overwhelming, so I need a little time and patience to settle in. Because of that, I’d do best in a low-traffic, calm home—no big dogs or small children, please. A quiet space where I can adjust at my own pace is where I truly shine. Once I feel safe and comfortable, though? Oh wow. I turn into an extremely affectionate lovebug. I adore attention, enjoy being close to my people, and I have lots to say. I’m a massive talker and will happily chat with you about my day, your day, and anything else that comes to mind. I may do well with a feline friend, as long as introductions are done slowly and properly. Taking things at my pace helps me feel secure and gives me the best chance to build positive relationships. I’m also on a specific diet that I really enjoy, and it’s important for me to stay on it. More details will be shared at the time of adoption but trust me—I’m very attached to my food routine and do best sticking with what I know. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who just needs a little patience before giving you his whole heart (and his whole voice), I might be your guy. I promise, once I choose you, I choose you hard.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lincoln Loud, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
