My story

Meet Snooki! Snooki is a gorgeous tabico with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s equal parts cuddlebug and diva—sweet as can be one minute and giving you the “that’s enough, human” look the next. Don’t worry, her famous little “swipes” aren’t mean—just her polite way of saying, “Please, I need some me time.” This girl knows what she wants, and honestly? We respect that. She loves a good snuggle session when she’s in the mood, and she absolutely lives for interactive play. Wand toys, feather teasers, catnip mice—Snooki is your go-to gal for a rousing round of chase-the-string. Snooki was found in a motel parking lot in Royal Oak, but you’d never guess it now—she’s traded that street life for the good life, and she’s ready to find her forever stage. She can be cautious with new feline friends but may do just fine with a slow intro to another chill cat. She’d thrive in a calm, steady home where she can get plenty of attention without too much chaos. An experienced cat person who understands her sass and loves her for it will be her perfect match. Snooki isn’t just a cat—she’s a whole vibe. If you’re looking for a little sass, a lot of love, and endless entertainment, she’s your girl. Snooki is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
