My story

Hi, I’m Jayne I’m a sleek little house panther with just a tiny white spot on my chest—like a secret signature so you can tell me apart from the other shadows in the room. I was born outdoors, but I was lucky enough to be rescued and grow up safe and cozy inside. Let me just say… indoor life is the best. Soft blankets, steady meals, toys that crinkle and jingle? I’m thriving. I get along great with other cats and even dogs. I’d love to be adopted with one of my siblings so we can keep our cuddle piles going strong. If that’s not possible, I’ll need a home with another friendly, playful kitty. I’m not meant to be a solo act—I like having a partner in zoomies and naps. Now, about my personality: I’m silly, playful, and full of fun. I take playtime very seriously. Be warned though—sometimes when I’m feeling extra excited, I’ll grab onto your arm and refuse to let go (all in good fun, of course!). I just get a little enthusiastic about life. When the zoomies wind down, I’m all about the snuggles. I love curling up with my people and my siblings, soaking in the warmth and purring away. If you’re looking for a playful little panther with personality, affection, and just the right amount of spunky charm, I’m your girl. Jayne is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jayne, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
