Meet Winter – A New Season of Love Begins with Her Say hello to Winter, a stunning 1-year-old calico beauty with a heart as warm as her name is cool. With her soft, colorful coat and curious golden eyes, Winter is the kind of cat who turns heads—but it`s her gentle soul that will truly capture your heart.Winter came from a heartbreaking situation, having lived in overcrowded conditions with many other cats. Despite her rough start, she’s proven to be incredibly resilient and sweet-natured. She got along well with her feline roommates and is ready to leave her past behind in exchange for a forever home filled with love, patience, and cozy naps.She’s a curious explorer who enjoys gentle play and would thrive in a home that offers her enrichment—think fun toys, cozy hideaways, and a scratching post (or two!). Winter has the potential to do well with children of all ages, as long as interactions are supervised and respectful.Now that she finally has the chance to shine, Winter is ready to soak up all the attention and affection she missed out on. If you’ve got love to give, Winter is ready to return it tenfold.If you are interested in meeting Winter or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.adoption fee is $50
