My story

Tango is an 8 year old Poodle currently being fostered in Waterloo. He was released from a breeding facility after doing his time. He has a light apricot curly coat with a red accent on his nose and tail. He currently weighs 14 pounds.  He has had a FULL MOUTH EXTRACTION due to the neglect of severe dental disease! Tango has picked up housebreaking and uses a pee pad inside as well. He’s a very loving guy and wants to be near his people. He accepts being bathed and brushed with no bother. He loves human interaction and gets along with other dogs and cats very well. He is great with visitors. He sleeps on dog beds or human beds. Tango is fine to be left alone at home for a few hours. He is not destructive. He can do our outdoor stairs but needs help to get up on furniture. He eats softened kibble mixed with wet food and drinks well with no digestive issues. Leash walking is a work in progress currently. Tango would do well in a house with someone home at least part of the day. His new family should be prepared to give him time to fully adapt to being a family pet as many things are new to him. Tango is ready, willing and able to report for duty as your new best friend (and cuddle bud)October 5, 2025, 8:00 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tango, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
