Maggie

My story

Maggie is a 4 year old mini poodle who came to us from a puppy mill. At that time she had a case of pancreatitis which left her with diarrhea; vomiting and no appetite.  She was prescribed medication and put on a low fat diet. She has remained on this and is now feeling tip top   For the first few days after her arrival, Maggie was very reserved. She was skittish and would run away with her tail tucked when approached. Since then, Maggie has become more outgoing and happy to see us with a little foot marching; wagging tail and an endearing left sided smile. She also kicks up her heels and runs around in circles in the backyard when first up early in the morning. She settles quickly in her crate at bedtime. Maggie is not destructive when left alone and does not bark. Maggie loves to snuggle on the couch.    Although Maggie does not cue us, she is very good about doing her business outdoors when taken. Maggie will climb a few stairs up to the deck but will not climb down or do indoor flights. She is also not leash trained.    Maggie is a very gentle and sweet soul looking for a loving and kind family to call her forever home. September 5, 2025, 7:56 am
