My story

DOB: July 10, 2024 Channa is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Channa is a loving, playful girl who never hides her affection. She may surprise you by leaping into your arms and greeting you with a flurry of nose kisses—like a child running into a parent’s embrace. She also has a quirky habit of nibbling at your hair during cuddle time. Confident and curious, Channa is fascinated by everyday life and will happily follow you from room to room. She’s especially intrigued by the bathroom and may dash in if you’re “indisposed,” just to keep you company. True to her chatty nature, Channa meows in her sleep, when she’s awake, while playing with toys, and even when she’s in an empty room—she always has something to say. Friendly and good-natured, she enjoys the company of other social cats (pictured with her son Masala) and would thrive in a home where she can share playtime with feline friends. With her sharp mind and high energy, Channa does best in an environment that provides plenty of toys, interactive play, and enrichment. If she wants your attention, she’ll always find a creative way to get it! Still brimming with kitten energy, Channa would make a delightful, spirited companion for anyone looking for a cat with personality, charm, and endless love to give.
