This pet needs emergency placement. Please click here to go to our emergency placement page for more information.Rose Bud is at risk due to behavioral reasons. Rose Bud was observed to be highly dog reactive while at the Care Centers. She has been noted to consistently pull hard towards dogs while growling, tense body, despite having ample distance and space. She is also not able to be redirected with treats, sounds, or verbal cues. Recently her reactivity has been escalating; Rose Bud has begun to now jumping towards the end of leash and continues to be difficult to redirect. When handlers try to block line of sight with other dogs, Rose Bud is observed to be persistent in trying to re-establish visual by pulling hard in the direction of the dog. Rose Bud is non-reactive to people on leash, and is aloof with familiar staff. Medically, she is noted to have undetermined allergies but otherwise is healthy. My adoption fee is sponsored by a generous donor! What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I have potential behavior challenges that staff will address with you when you meet me.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I'll need daily interaction with you as I get used to my new life.I will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy. It could be with you! She loved sniffing and exploring and would be a great hiking or running companion. Rose Bud would thrive in a calm environment outside of the city where she can relax and be her true curious self. She was a great car companion and calmly observed the world going by. She enjoys dashing through streams, playing with sticks, and having a soft plushy to rest her head on at the end of the day.My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Rose Bud might be timid at first, but give her the time to warm up to you and she'll blossom into the sweet dog she truly is. This gal is smart! She knows how to give paw, sit on command & is very treat motivated. She has been in overlooked for far too long and I simply cannot understand why. She is truly an incredible dog, and whoever adopts her will have a great addition to their family. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 62 Age: 3yrs 8mths 2wks
