My story

Gator / Male / 10 Weeks / Husky Mix / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: Yes / Location: Brampton Meet Gator, a chill little dude with a heart as big as his name. At just 10 weeks old, Gator is already showing what a truly great dog he’s going to be. He’s calm, cuddly, and loves to hang out with his foster family, whether it’s romping with other dogs, gently playing with the kids, or curling up for a good nap. His absolute favorite toy? The flirt pole, he’ll chase, pounce, and wiggle with joy every time it comes out. He’s playful without being wild, and sweet without being shy. Just the right balance of puppy energy and laid back charm. Gator came into rescue from Attawapiskat, a remote Northern Ontario community, and underwent a right eye enucleation due to injury. His recovery has been beautiful, and he’s now fully healed and ready to take on the world, with one eye and a whole lot of love. He is crate trained and working on his housebreaking skills, and doing great for his age, but like any puppy, he’ll need continued guidance and consistency in his forever home Gator is ready to leave his past behind and leap into a future filled with love, toys, and belly rubs. If you’re looking for a resilient, gentle pup with a playful streak and a heart of gold, Gator’s your guy. Gator is current on age appropriate vaccines and has been microchipped. He can be neutered at 6 months at one of our partner clinics in Hamilton, Kitchener, London, or Markham. Alternatively we offer a despot that is returned upon neuter at your own vet. Apply to adopt. Share to help. Donate to support pups like Gator. Let’s help this one eyed wonder find the home he deserves https://forms.gle/o3A3rCSzuxEapN8k6

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gator, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
