My story

Princess is a black and tan Chihuahua mix, she is 10 years old and 9 lbs. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Read Princess's full profile and submit an adoption application: https://www.fawnssmalldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/princess Princess is a cuddly lady who prefers people over everything else. Like many Chihuahuas, we were told she's a Chiweenie, she has opinions and is sometimes fussily expresses them. It's hard when people forget that you're royalty! Princess is working on house and potty training. She's working on potty pad training and going potty in the yard. She isn't leash trained and needs a securely fenced yard for potty training success and fun adventures. Princess wasn't always a princess. As a former hoarding situation dog, her background was more pauper. She previously lived with a person and another small dog. Unfortunately the person became unable to care for them and Princess came to Fawn's. Princess is ready for the sweet life. She'd adore being your one and only diva, she's all about soaking up the love and adoration she missed early in life. She could likely tolerate a similarly sized male dog, she views other female dogs as competition. Princess's ideal home has a securely fenced yard. One or more people ready to dote upon her. She could tolerate another small male dog, she'd prefer to be an only child. Princess hasn't met any kids or cats, she'd do better in an adult only home or one with dog-savvy teens.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Princess, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
