My story

Jack is around 8 years old, 18 lbs, Schnauzer mix. He is neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Read Jack's full profile to make sure you understand his needs before submitting an adoption application: https://www.fawnssmalldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/jack Jack's highlights: Gentleman Jack is a cuddler. He enjoys the company of other dogs. He also very much appreciates a stroll, meander, or any excuse to enjoy a leash walk with his people. He's doing great with house and potty training. Unlike most of our foster dogs, Jack was so used to doing his business on a leash that he had to be trained to go potty, sans leash, in the yard. We are happy to report that gentleman Jack is in his healing era! He's finished his antibiotics and doing great on his omega3 supplements. His specialty grooming is greatly helping his skin heal, thanks Paw Spa! As a Schnauzer mix, Jack will continue to require regular grooming. This, along with his supplement, will give his fur the best chance to grow back. This Diamond in the Ruff is ready for adoption. His ideal home has people who understand that his healing is a journey and are committed to continuing it with him. Jack can be a solo dog or do fine with siblings, he hasn't been kid or cat tested. This sweet boy can be wary of new situations, so we recommend that he go to an adult only home or a home with respectful, dog-savvy older teens. Jack doesn't require a fenced yard.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jack, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
