PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. LAILAH and her siblings were saved by the Rescue Mama. See she went to take some cats from a colony in Hemet, Ca to be fixed in Thousand Palms. She was in line and saw a lady walk up (see last picture) with 3 tiny kittens that she planned to TNR in her back yard. She was telling a lady that they were super friendly and could just live in her back yard. Rescue Mama almost had a heart attack. 3 littles outside in this heat in Coachella Valley?!?!?! Needless to say, they are all safe now with a foster. The foster named them after ANGELS. And now at our PETSMART! Meet LAILAH: The Little Shadow with a Heart of Gold LAILAH is a delightful Russian Blue mix kitten with a coat of soft, smoky gray fur that's as plush as velvet. She moves with an elegant, almost ethereal grace that hints at her dignified lineage, though her playful spirit proves she's all kitten at heart. The only thing interrupting her stunning silver-tipped coat is a tiny, perfectly placed white spot on her chest, a charming little detail that makes her truly one-of-a-kind. Don't let her regal appearance fool you—LAILAH is an absolute powerhouse of playful energy. She is endlessly entertained by the simplest of toys, from batting around a crinkly toy mouse to chasing after the feathered wand. She'll stalk her "prey" with a serious, focused intensity, but the moment she pounces, her victorious celebration is pure, unadulterated joy. When she's not honing her impressive hunting skills, she's finding new and inventive ways to turn any object into a game. While she's a master of fun, LAILAH's most endearing quality is her deep-seated love for affection. After a long day of playing, she transforms into a soft and cuddly lovebug who will happily curl up with her favorite person for a cozy nap. Her purr is like a tiny, rumbling engine that kicks into high gear the moment she's being pet. She thrives on human contact and will gladly accept all the snuggles and head scratches you can offer. If you're looking for a companion who offers the perfect blend of playful antics and tranquil affection, LAILAH is the kitten for you. LAILAH is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / RUSSIAN BLUE MIX. She is about 4 months old. She is good with cats. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** AUGUST 2025: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. +++++ PLEASE NOTE: We only have cats in Murrieta and City of Industry +++++ PETSMART in City of Industry, California off Colima Road in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. LAILAH is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
