My story

Hi! I'm Ocean! I'm an approximately 8 week old, male, Domestic Short Hair, orange kitten. I was brought to the shelter by my finder with my mother and sibling with hopes of finding my furr ever home. Unfortunately, I have not had an easy time at my young age. When I was brought to the shelter, I had a pretty bad upper respiratory infection and eye infection. I am still fighting my cold but have made great progress! Now I am battling a case of ringworm. I am currently being treated and will be sent home with my medication if I am adopted during treatment. Keep in mind, ringworm is contagious to anyone with skin so I will have to be kept secluded and handled with care! I am an affectionate guy who enjoys a warm cuddle and playing with my sister. I am scheduled to return to the shelter on Wednesday, September 24th for my neuter. This is a non-negotiable so plan accordingly. Since I am so young, meet and greets will be by approved application only. My adoption fee is $75 and includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, 1st FVRCP, and 1st dewormer. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
