My story

DOB: July 7, 2023 Quick facts about Minou! -He looooves people. Will follow you from room to room, and brush up against you to ask for pets. If you're not giving him attention, he will sit near you and keep you company. -Not too shy around strangers. Affectionate with familiar humans. Loves a good cuddle, especially in the morning or when you just get home. -Extremely food motivated. Will meow VERY intently before his meals. The way to win his heart is with a few treats and some wet food. But he may try to sneak a bite out of your lunch if you're not careful... He also has a tendency to binge eat, so smaller and more frequent meals are recommended. -Prefers interactive toys (i.e. string toys) over playing alone. Has a (kinda) weird playstyle - likes to lie on his back and swat at toys like a baby at a crib mobile. Super funny! -Easy to handle. Tolerates being picked up. Doesn't take much effort to cut his nails. He has verbal growls/cues when he's overstimulated, so you will clearly know when he's had enough. Minou arrived at TCR overweight. He may need some help wiping his bum after using the litterbox (which he is pretty tolerant of!). His foster family is working hard on getting him to a healthy weight through diet and playtime. His adopters will need to be able to keep this up, so he can live a long and healthy life! Note from his fosters: While he is cuddly and affectionate, Minou can get quite anxious if left alone for long periods of time. Minou would benefit from a busy household with lots of people (i.e. a family or a shared housing situation), or one where his human(s) work from home and can give him lots of attention. We hope you’ll love him as much as we do!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Minou, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
