My story

Meet Otter — a sweet, playful 5–6 month-old pup weighing in at 35 pounds of pure charm (as of 8/12/25)! This handsome boy absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine playmate to romp and snuggle with. Otter is already a smart cookie — he knows how to sit and lie down, is crate trained, and fully potty trained. He’s a toy enthusiast, always ready for a game or to keep himself entertained with his favorites. On leash, he’s pretty good for a youngster, though he’s still gaining confidence in new situations. Loud noises outside can make Otter a little nervous, and he may pause or stop walking when startled. With continued positive experiences plus the right gear to keep him safe, he’ll blossom into a confident companion. If you’re looking for a loving and fun pup who’s ready to be your dog’s best friend and your loyal sidekick, Otter might just be the perfect catch.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Otter, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
