My story

DOB: Dec 5, 2023 This gentle soul is a shy sweetheart who's blossoming with love and patience. At first, she may hang back and observe from a safe distance, but once she starts to feel safe, her true personality begins to shine. She’s quietly affectionate, sensitive, and full of potential. With each day, she’s becoming more confident. With a calm, loving home, she’ll continue to bloom into a deeply loyal companion. She is bonded with her sister, Prim. Katniss may be an adult but she looks like a kitten. She is tiny and her sweet antics add to her charm. She loves head and neck rubs! With rubs, she will melt sideways, totally overcome with bliss! It's her go-to move for maximum affection and always makes us smile. Small in size but big on a gentle and warm personality, she is full of endearing quirks. Katniss and her sister, Prim were rescued from a hoarding situation in which they sadly didn't receive love, affection, socialization or enough food. They bonded with each other, and we are so proud that they are learning to trust how wonderful life is in a regular home. Katniss and Prim need to be adopted together. Katniss will be scared and shy at first, so she will need a home that can start her and her sister in a small room. They will need a home that is patient. Katniss may revert back to being very nervous at first, but once she sees that you love her, she will flourish! Special note from my foster family: We love Katniss and have seen her come so far! At the vet clinic that first saw her, she bolted so fast out of her cage, she was very difficult to put into a carrier to come into our foster home. Now, although she still likes staying in a small sanctuary space, she cuddles when we sit with her, rolls into her head rubs and happily licks her favorite moist food treat off of our finger! Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair is $175 per cat, versus our standard fee of $225 per adult cat.
