Meet Slate – The Affectionate Mischief-Maker with a Heart of Gold! Slate is a handsome little lover boy with an adventurous spirit and just the right dash of mischief. He’s the kind of kitty who will shower you with affection one moment, then be scaling the cat tree or wrestling with his siblings the next. Playful, bold, and endlessly curious, Slate is always in the middle of the action—and his silly antics will keep you laughing every single day. When he was tiny, he even tried to snatch the formula bottle away from his siblings at feeding time, despite already having a full belly! That mix of determination and charm has carried through as he’s grown, making him the life of the party. Slate would thrive in a busy, active household where there’s plenty to do and explore. He’s lived with adult cats and a dog in his foster home and got along just fine, so he’d do well in a home with other friendly pets. Because he’s such a social boy, Slate needs a feline friend to grow up with, and he’d love to be adopted with one of his siblings—his sweet sister Pixie or his big brother Buddy Hobbs. A playful buddy will be essential for this active boy to burn off energy and share in his adventures. When it comes to affection, Slate is all in. He loves belly rubs, leans into every pet, and even gives his foster mom gentle nibbles on her earlobes as a goofy sign of love. He has a big, happy purr that rumbles the moment he’s touched, and he never tires of soaking up attention. Despite all his playful energy, he has a soft, snuggly side that makes him just as much of a cuddle bug as he is a daredevil. And let’s not forget—Slate is an expert climber! Whether it’s a tall cat tree, cat shelves, or any cozy perch with a view, he’ll be right there, proudly surveying his kingdom. With his combination of affection, boldness, and silliness, Slate is truly the best of both worlds: a sweetheart and a little mischief-maker rolled into one.
