My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.LAKE was found as a stray and picked up by Animal Control and after having chance to decompress, she’s now ready to find her forever home. She’s spayed, vaccinated including her rabies shot, negative 4DX test, microchipped and been given a clean bill of health by her vet. It appears she was originally a  northern dog who came south. She’s a very gentle, loving girl who loves to be with her foster and have snuggles on the couch. She’s on her calmer side for a Husky but just as playful and loyal.  LAKE is crate trained and sleeps soundly in it at night and will also go in it during the day for a nap. She is also housetrained and will let you know when she wants to go outside for a bathroom break. She lives to go on walks and gets excited when she knows she’s going on one. She likes to lay in her dog bed where she enjoys chewing on her bone or rubber toys. She’s very good with eating around the other dog in the home and will sit calmly for her food or treats.  LAKE loves to be around people and to have reassurance that she’s loved. She has never met a cat so we wouldn’t recommend her being in a home with one. She has met children and was very good with them and we’re recommending they should be aged 6 and up and should have large breed dog experience. Her ideal family would be one that loves the outdoors as much as she does and enjoys walking and hiking on the trails too. She travels really well in a vehicle and would always be up for a road trip that leads to an adventure or two.  If you would like to meet LAKE then please submit an adoption application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2025, 9:17 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt LAKE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
