You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.CRUISER was found on a property living with an injured hind leg. He had a very bad break and the bone in his leg was sticking out of his leg about an inch. His leg was amputated and he’s made a full recovery and now he’s looking for his forever home. He’s had his vaccines including rabies, Revolution flea and tick treatment, a microchip and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. Losing his leg has not stopped this little boy at all as he’s an active, adventurous, fearless little guy and there’s no stopping him when it comes to racing around the house, he definitely lives up to his name of CRUISER. He loves his foster mum and spends a lot of time purring in her arms to let her know he loves her. He’s very comfortable being picked up and held and just an all round snuggle bug. CRUISER’s used the litter box since day one in foster care as he’s a such a smart boy. He loves to eat and drink his nice cold water, eats kibble and wet food plus he loves Temptations treats. Chasing crinkly toys around is one of his favourite pass times and he’s just discovering what fun all the kitty toys are that he has. He’s in a foster home with 2 very large dogs so he would suit a home with a dog as long as the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is made between them. Another cat in the home would be good for him but he can be an only cat as long as he’s not left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and caring towards animals. CRUISER will not be neutered until he’s 6 months of age due to losing a growth plate when his leg was amputated and his vet feels he would benefit more by delaying his neuter by 2 months. His adopter must be committed to bring him to Barrie on his surgery date. If you would like to meet CRUISER then please submit an adoption application for him.
