My story

WILL TWIRL HER WAY INTO YOUR HEART  DOB 6/1/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Do-Si-Do “Peanut,” a sweet, energetic, and initially timid “bicolor” gal who is mostly white with grey on my head, tail, and back. With playful spots scattered all over my coat like “do-si-do” dance steps or a game of Twister, I was basically made to move. And move I do -- in my own cautious, thoughtful way. I’m the kind of kitten who looks both ways before crossing the room . . . and then leaps straight into the middle of the action. I am a little shy but totally worth the wait. I take my time getting comfortable in new places, and then I really blossom with just a little patience and understanding. Give me a chance to find my rhythm, and I’ll reward you with nonstop entertainment. Scoop me up, and I’ll melt into your arms like the soft, peanut-buttery cookie-center I’m named for. I’m sweet and always ready to pounce back into the fun. In case you haven’t figured it out, I’m the most energetic (and okay, delightfully chaotic) member of the Girl-Scout-Cookies litter. Once I’ve figured out my surroundings, I’m a total whirlwind: climbing cat trees, scaling furniture, and twirling my way right into your heart. (What can I say — you’ve got to “do-si-do” to keep up with me!) My story began when a kind family found my momma Cookie wandering around outside. She was so friendly that they thought she had a home. Unfortunately, no one came forward. When they found that she had baked a whole batch of us kittens, they brought all of us inside, and I have been safe, loved, and full of kitten frenzy ever since. I get along great with young kids, other cats, and friendly dogs in my foster home. Sometimes I let out a little hiss if someone gets a little too bouncy. Don’t worry — I never swat or scratch. I just like to set my boundaries so we can all “do-si-do” in perfect harmony. Now I’m ready to whirl and twirl as the acrobat and nonstop entertainer of my forever family. I’d really love to be adopted with one of my siblings, Tagalong "Pattie," Scout, or Chip.
