Sweet girl Ivy is a 6 months old calm puppy, who has never met a stranger. Ivy loves everyone and everyone who meets her, loves her. Check out her video : https://vimeo.com/1108614278 Sweet Ivy was rescued from a high kill pound of Houston where she lived since she was only 2.5 months old. She was a staff favorite due to her sweet and loving disposition and that finally saved her life. Ivy lives with her Belgian Malinois foster brother and two kitties but does not bother anyone. She is more interested in her foster parents and loves being petted and loves to give kisses and shower affection to her human. Ivy is about 30 lb, and growing. She will become a medium sized pup as an adult. She is current on her vaccination, spayed, is microchipped and kept on deworming schedule, and heartworm and flea preventatives. Ivy is currently being fostered in Houston, but can be transported to any state in USA or Canada. To adopt our puppies, yards, if any, must be fully and adequately fenced. We do not accept invisible or electric fences. To meet this sweet girl via video chat, please send an application available at savesomesouls.com, Her adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Interstate Health Certificate for our out of state adopters. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ivy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
