My story

Lilly Rose is a sweet and spunky 9-year-old Maltese with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Don’t let her age fool you—Lilly has the soul of a puppy when it comes to her favorite activity: going on walks! Whether it's a quick stroll around the block or a leisurely adventure through the neighborhood, she's always ready to explore the world by your side. Lilly is a true social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with everyone—men, women, children, and even other dogs. She thrives on attention and absolutely adores being petted. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy or a lap warmer, Lilly Rose is your girl. When she's not out on a walk or soaking up the love, Lilly enjoys two of life’s finest pleasures: food and naps. A tasty treat followed by a cozy snooze in a sunny spot is her idea of a perfect afternoon. Lilly Rose is the total package—loving, gentle, friendly, and full of charm. She’s looking for a forever home where she’ll be cherished as much as she’ll cherish you. Could that home be yours? Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
