My story

Meet E.T.—a mysterious little tabby/calico visitor who may not phone home, but she is searching for a place to call her own. Just like her namesake, E.T. is curious and gentle but cautious in a new world. She’s slow to trust and takes her time adjusting, but with patience, kindness, and a little bit of love, she’ll show you just how special she is. E.T. doesn’t rush into new connections—she needs someone who understands that the best bonds take time to form. Once she feels safe, her quiet affection and sweet spirit shine through. If you're ready to be the Elliott to her E.T., this tender-hearted alien is ready to come home. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
