Marv is a big ball of goofy puppy energy and he’s still growing! This lovable goof adores absolutely everything and everyone he meets. Whether it’s people, toys, or other animals, Marv’s tail-wagging enthusiasm is endless. Like any young pup, Marv is still learning his manners and how to be on his best behaviour, so he’ll thrive in a home ready to guide him with patience, positive training, and plenty of playtime. In return, he’ll shower you with unconditional love, silly antics, and snuggles galore.If you’re looking for a joyful, happy-go-lucky companion who will keep you smiling every day, Marv is ready to bounce his way into your heart and home!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:55 lbs and growing!HOME TYPE:Any home as long as he is with you!CHILDREN:Yes - Mid-aged sturdy-children that have lived with a large dog due to size and manners.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time owner possible.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:Three in-person training sessions required to work on socialization, basic training, and manners (jumpy/mouthy/pushy).HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Absolutely loves meeting new people.FAVOURITE THINGS:Getting all the love from people and chasing as many toys as possible.**For more information on any behaviours stated above, please check out our behaviour fact sheet: https://kwsphumane.ca/BehavioursandDefinitions**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets.
