My story

IRIS | 62 lb | 1 year old | Quiet and gentle | Cat and dog friendly| Toronto Is your household vibe chill, mellow, and calm? Do you appreciate an easy pace, a relaxed atmosphere, company that is compatible, easy, and sweet? If so, you must meet Iris! This girl is the comfort of a lazy Sunday morning coffee and the relief of finally stretching out on the couch in your sweats after a long day at work. She's easy and low-maintenance, equally happy to cuddle or do her own thing. Iris was very shy upon coming into our care, but she's adapted like a champ. She walks beautifully on leash, responds to direction, is fully housetrained, and can be left alone without any fuss. We are looking for a home with a dog for Iris since she would absolutely LOVE a dog sibling. She loves to greet other dogs on the street and is so excited when a dog comes to stay at her foster home. She's also excellent with cats, and would be a great cat sister. Iris is low to medium energy and really undemanding. She would like a home with a fenced yard since she loves to play outside. This girl asks for little and gives so much. We can't wait to see her settled with her forever family, just in time for cozy season!
