My story

Meet Sugar Plum This two-year-old sweetheart has already lived a big life, raising her kittens with love and grace. Now, thanks to the magic of spaying, she’s officially retired from motherhood and embracing her own cat life with gusto! Sugar Plum is rediscovering the joy of zoomies, cozy naps, and chasing toys like it’s her full-time job. She’s playful, gentle, and oh-so-affectionate, ready to be someone’s cherished companion. The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.   Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary.  We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.  We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.  Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet.
