Meet Dani – A Beautiful Soul Looking for a Fresh Start Dani is a stunning 3-year-old with a sleek black coat, soulful eyes, and a heart full of potential. We don’t know why her previous owner surrendered her, but we do know she deserves a second chance at a loving, committed home. Weighing in at a perfect 50 pounds, Dani is a great size for both cuddles and adventure. She’s very intelligent and curious, though understandably a bit anxious as she adjusts to her new surroundings. With time, patience, and consistency, we’re confident she’ll blossom. Dani walks with enthusiasm and can be a bit strong on the leash, but she’s already making progress with training. She shows a real interest in children when she passes them on walks. Dani has demonstrated some reactivity towards other dogs in the shelter setting, so supervised introductions to dogs will be important.  Due to a noticeable prey drive, we recommend cautious, supervised introductions to cats or small animals. But with the right guidance, Dani has all the makings of a loyal, affectionate companion. If you’re ready to give a sweet, smart dog the stability and love she craves, Dani might just be your perfect match. The adoption fee is $350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.  Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.  ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.  Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Animal Rescue and our mission.  ##2376586##
