My story

Hey there, I’m Rosco! I’m a 6-year-old red Boston Terrier with a heart as big as my ears (and trust me, those are pretty impressive). I weigh in at a solid 24 pounds of pure love and playful energy. Whether it’s zooming around the yard, going for walks, or hopping into the car for an adventure, I’m always up for fun. I’ve got that perfect Boston blend of spunk and sweetness — playful during the day, mellow and snuggly by night. I’m house trained, leash trained, and I know how to be a polite gentleman around kids, seniors, and other dogs. I get along with everyone — though I can feel a little anxious in big crowds. I’m what they call a “Velcro baby,” which means I’ll stick close to you like your shadow, especially when it’s time to relax. If you’re sitting, I’m cuddling. That’s just the deal. I’m obedient, affectionate, and ridiculously handsome (not to brag, but people say it all the time). If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll keep you laughing, keep you moving, and keep you warm at night — I’m your guy. This will allow you to get on our list of approved homes so you can immediately adopt a Boston Terrier when it becomes available through Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at www.texasbostons.com. Click on the Rescue tab and then on the Foster Program tab. Here you will find our requirements for becoming a foster parent along with a link for an online foster application.
