Coal is a handsome 6-year-old male black cat with a sweet and friendly personality that will warm your heart. This laid-back gentleman loves to explore his surroundings at his own relaxed pace, making him the perfect companion for someone who appreciates calm and curiosity in equal measure.Coal is also quite vocal—he enjoys sharing his thoughts and keeping you company with his charming chatter. He gets along well with other cats, making him a great addition to a multi-cat household or a loving companion for someone seeking a loyal friend.If you’re looking for a mellow yet affectionate cat who loves both companionship and a bit of adventure, Coal is ready to find his forever home with you!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
