Meet Zion, an adorable ~1 year old neutered male toy poodle mix, weighing about 10 lbs!. Zion was rescued from a backyard breeder/hoarding situation in east TN along with several other small poodle mixes, many of whom were in rough shape (matted and unkempt), including one pregnant female. We cleaned up these babies, vetted them, and placed them in loving foster homes, where they have been absolutely THRIVING while learning what life as an indoor, loved dog is all about! Inspired by their beauty, we named this group of pups after National Parks. Zion is now being fostered in New England and is ready to find his furever home! Zion is a super sweet, friendly boy, bursting with excitement and joy! He is young and playful, and gets along with everyone! He loves people, other dogs, and kids. He has not been cat tested, however we feel he would likely be fine with cats. He is medically up to date, mostly housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special boy and give him the second chance he so deserves! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2483312##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Zion, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
