My story

Meet Betty Boop – the total package wrapped in 85 pounds of love! This stunning, 18-month-old Cane Corso mix is ready to find her forever home. With her sleek all-black coat, soulful eyes, and gentle nature, Betty turns heads everywhere she goes — and she’s just as beautiful on the inside. Betty is spayed, vaccinated, house-trained, and crate-trained. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and has an excellent temperament. No one is a stranger to this affectionate girl! She enjoys car rides, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. She’s also kennel trained, playful, and loves toys and water. At home, she’s a total cuddlebug who thinks she’s a lap dog — she’s happiest snuggled up on the couch with her people. Betty has a good amount of energy, but settles easily and is very food motivated, making her a great candidate for continued training. She previously lived peacefully with a large male dog but should not live with small dogs, and we recommend no young children due to her size and need for structure. She can display some resource guarding with other dogs, but it’s manageable and she is respectful with humans. Betty may have some prey drive, but it is very controllable with leadership and structure. She’s already been let down twice through no fault of her own, and she deserves better — she’s loyal, loving, and just needs someone to guide her. We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest. Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed. Our Commitment to Our Dogs Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including: • Spay/Neuter surgery • Microchipping • DHPP vaccination • Flea treatment and deworming • Rabies vaccination • Any additional vet care as needed The adoption fee for this dog is $100 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs.
