My story

I am Tyson the Great. I am great at playing. The scamper in my step when I am chasing a toy will make you laugh. Playing with my friends is fun. I am great at giving and accepting attention. When you need a smile to make your day, I am there. When I need a scratch behind the ear, my people are there. Then my purr will start. I am great at purring. When I start, I can be really loud. I am great at watching television. Yup, I will snuggle right in and watch a good movie like The Three Mouseketeers! I will sit very close and may even make biscuits while dreaming. What is a great movie to you? Maybe we could share a sofa and enjoy an evening flick. Are you interested in adopting Tyson or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center or Timber Drive next to Home Depot).
