Daisy June (“DJ”)

My story

Daisy June (“DJ”) is looking for her forever home. She is about 2 years young, house- and crate-trained, dog social, and very people social. DJ is high energy and would love a running or cycling companion for daily exercise or family adventures. She is not for the novice dog owner or a home with very young children due to her desire to greet you with her whole being (but this is a work in-progress). She can self-entertain for hours, but to continue her success she should be crated if left alone. DJ is very affectionate and loves to snuggle during tv time. She is incredibly smart, wants to learn and please, and is very trainable. Currently she sleeps in her crate all night without a peep, but if she had the opportunity to sleep with her own person or people, she would be in total bliss. In the daytime she’s happy to play with toys, dog siblings, or sleep while human fosters are working. Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center.
