My story

Meet Milani! Milani was one of 7 dogs abandoned at a home after their owners were evicted. They were all taken to Santa Barbara Shelter-Santa Maria. On July 29th, we welcomed Milani, along with her two senior siblings Russet and Revlon, as Frosted Faces. She is 15 years old and weighs under 7 lbs. — the perfect size to snuggle and take with you everywhere! Milani is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we look forward to learning more about her as she receives the love and care she deserves in the comfort of a home. Her Fling Mom reports: "It’s been a little over a day since this senior sweetheart came home for a fling, and this is what we know about her so far!: 🚙: After picking Milani up from FFF, she went on a mini field trip to coffee and lunch along with a quick thrift haul where she hung out in her sling the whole time with out a peep. She did great in the car besides occasionally trying to get on my lap, but once I put the car seat in the front, she had a long nap on the way home. 🍔: Milani is a great eater! She even asked for seconds at dinner time last night and then licked the bowl clean! 🛁: A bath is the first thing she did when she got home. And she was so great at it! I put a towel in the tub to keep her from slipping, and she then took a sit while being pampered! This morning, Milani came over for pets, and I learned that she loves a good chin massage.
