My story

Meet Clinique! Clinique entered Santa Barbara Shelter-Santa Maria as a stray, and sadly, no one stepped forward to claim this sweet girl. We welcomed Clinique as a Frosted Face on July 29th. She’s approximately 11 years old and weighs 6.5 lbs. — the perfect size to snuggle and take with you everywhere! Clinique is currently enjoying a two-week Frosted Fling, and we’re excited to watch her blossom as she experiences the love and comfort of a caring home. Her Fling Mom reports: "It’s been a few days since this little glam queen came home with me, and she’s already proving to be flawless in every way! 🚗 Car Ride: She arrived in style, of course. Slept through the whole 20-minute ride—her beauty sleep is clearly a top priority! 👋 Meeting the Crew: She met my small dogs and cats with no drama—just pure poise and grace. Totally calm, totally composed... she doesn’t need to blend in because she’s already a natural. ☀️ Daily Life: She spent most of her first day lounging in a cozy donut bed, giving off major spa day vibes. But she did get up to powder her nose and check out the house. She’s also the ultimate lap accessory—perfectly content to sit on my lap while I work. No mascara smudges, no fuss. 🍗 Meals: She dines like a true lady—slow, polite, and savoring every bite of her chicken and veggie wet food. I feed her separately in another room so she can take her time, away from my other two pups who would gladly speed through her portion if given the chance. 🐾 Walks: She’s not big on cardio—but hey, same. She’s more of a “sniff around and let the world admire her” type. And I don’t mind carrying her—every glam girl needs a personal assistant. 💅 😴 Sleep: She put herself to bed like a seasoned beauty guru closing her palette after a long day. Slept through the night—no smudges, no mess, just sweet dreams. Overall, this little lady is low-maintenance, high-cuteness, and totally ready to make up for lost time in a forever home."
