A Spirted Senior with a Zest for Life & Pinch of Spice!  Prepare to be amazed by Chewy, a vibrant 12-year-old Chihuahua who defies his age with boundless energy and a remarkable zest for life! This little guy is a testament to resilience, a true survivor with a charming, spicy side. Thanks to exceptional care, Chewy is incredibly healthy and feeling his absolute best. He's beautifully settled into foster life, rediscovering trust and learning the joy of a secure environment. While he navigates the world with limited vision, it certainly doesn't slow down this energetic senior! He's looking for a compassionate adopter who will appreciate his spirited nature and help him continue to thrive at his own gentle pace. Watch him blossom further with time, understanding, and all the tender loving care you can offer! Chewy has made tremendous progress learning to use pee pads in his foster home (he's also a pro at napping on the job when visiting his foster mom's hospital – she's a great vet!). And don't worry about his occasional grumbles – with a full mouth extraction, his bite is all bark and no ouch! Despite having degenerative mitral valve disease (DVMD), Chewy is currently medication-free and living life to the fullest. He's ready to trade his past for a quiet, loving home where he can spend his remaining years feeling cherished and secure.
