My story

Hi there! I’m Mikki — a beautiful red Boston Terrier with a heart as warm as my cinnamon-colored coat. I’m three years young, weigh a perfect 22 pounds, and I’m ready to be your snuggle buddy for life. Life’s better when I’m surrounded by love, and lucky for you, I adore just about everyone — cats, dogs, kids, and grown-ups alike. I’m sweet as can be and happiest when I’m curled up beside someone who enjoys a good cuddle as much as I do. I’m house trained and know how to use a doggy door like a pro, which makes things pretty easy around here. I’m playful without being wild, mellow without being boring, and I know when it’s time to chill versus when it’s time to zoom. Car rides? Count me in — wind in my whiskers, sun on my face, and my favorite human by my side. And if you’re up for strolls, I’ll gladly join you for a walk (and maybe trot a little, just to show off my adorable bounce). If you’re looking for a best friend who’s equal parts cuddly, cheerful, and perfectly pocket-sized, I just might be your girl. Let’s take on the world — one nap, snuggle, and tail wag at a time. My adoption fee is $375. Available early August. This will allow you to get on our list of approved homes so you can immediately adopt a Boston Terrier when it becomes available through Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at www.texasbostons.com. Click on the Rescue tab and then on the Foster Program tab. Here you will find our requirements for becoming a foster parent along with a link for an online foster application.
