My story

Meet Sherlock! He was on a solo adventure on 7/13 when spotted and brought to the shelter. No one has come to reclaim Sherlock so he's now keeping his paws crossed for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers have fallen in love with Sherlock and describe him as incredibly cute and super sweet! He sits nicely when asked and his coat is silky soft. Sherlock is still quite young so please ensure you have the time, patience, and energy to keep up with him before adopting. Sherlock is approximately 1 year old and weighs 46 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Sherlock is waiting patiently in run 874; his ID # is 11892. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
