🌟 Meet Abby! Your Future Hiking Buddy & Couch Companion🌟 Abby is a vibrant, social hound girl who lives for connection—whether it’s with other dogs or the people she loves. If there’s a pup party or a human cuddle session happening nearby, you can bet Abby will try to get in on it—even if it means hopping a fence to do so! She’s not trying to escape; she just wants to be where the action (and affection) is. This sweet girl has a heart of gold and a nose that never stops working. Her ideal day? A good walk full of new scents, a romp with a doggy friend, and then lounging around with her humans. Abby is learning to enjoy car rides and has started to appreciate the joy of mealtime—especially if there are treats involved. She has a few quirks that just make her more lovable: she’ll gently press her head into your belly like a hug, and if you let her, she’d be thrilled to curl up next to you during a storm (though thunder still makes her a little uneasy). With time and consistency, Abby is sure to become a world-class snuggler. 🏡 Abby’s Perfect Home: A high, secure fence (she’s a bit of a jumper when motivated by love and friendship) One or more doggy siblings to play with An active family that enjoys outdoor adventures—camping, hiking, or just long walks A calm, loving home where she can continue to gain confidence Possibly good with kids and small dogs—she’s gentle and sweet Abby is house-trained and crate-trained (with a little help from medication as she adjusts), and is working on her basic manners. She walks pretty well on a leash, but keep an eye out for squirrels—her hound instincts are strong! Abby is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She’s still discovering what it means to be a pet, but one thing is clear: Abby is ready to love and be loved.
