My story

Maebelle is a sweet, cuddly girl with a playful spark. ✨ She loves chasing bugs in the yard and will happily hop after dragonflies like a little bunny. In her foster home, she does great with other dogs—whether they’re high-energy or more laid-back—and enjoys having canine companions around. Maebelle also loves people, happily giving kisses and hugs. 🤗 She’s still learning about cats and gets very excited when she sees them, so a cat-free home may be best. Maebelle is crate-trained, keeps her space clean, and hasn’t had any accidents. She’s a quick learner who picks up on routines and expectations nicely. On leash, she’s friendly and eager, and she enjoys going on adventures, though she’ll benefit from a bit more practice with pulling. One of Maebelle’s best qualities is how well she settles in public! She is sweet, calm, and takes everything in stride, making her a lovely companion for outings. At home, she’s a total cuddle bug 💕 who enjoys being close to her people just as much as she enjoys playtime and exploring. Maebelle was found by a Good Samaritan in a rural area. Up to date on vaccines and preventatives, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed—she is ready for a home of her own where she can enjoy some playtime, explore the world around her, and then relax and settle in for a cozy evening. 💤

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maebelle, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
