Smurf

My story

Smurfy is a testament of hope, resilience, and healing power of compassion. Found in the community on a bring of starvation, Smurf was lucky to come across a kind-hearted veterinarian who saw his will to live and gave him a chance. Smurf took it into his paws and did not let go. He fought the death itself and he won. Despite being emaciated, frightened, and not knowing how to connect with other cats and humans, he put all his remaining energy into getting better, coming out of his shell, trusting the world, and making friends. Slowly but surely, Smurf recovered, regaining his appetite and his cautious curiosity. Now this tiny miracle is learning to be a kitten again. He plays with his foster brothers and sisters, chases pompoms, and runs around to help his muscles grow. In time, he is going to turn from a small ugly duckling into a beautiful, calm, and affectionate cat, with deep appreciation for kindness and love.
