Despite his age, he is still very active and playful. He will play fetch for hours if you let him and absolutely loves being outside. Inside he is all about the cuddle life! He was attacked by a dog larger than him in the past. Because of this he is often uncomfortable around other dogs; mostly those bigger than him. He is also very vocal, often growling or barking when trying to play. This can be off-putting to other dogs, so a slow introduction will be a must of you have other dogs in your home. He has a high prey drive so cats, small animals, and flighty dogs are not a good match for him.
