My story

Meet Jack a sweet, adventurous little guy who loves to explore every corner of the room and your heart. He’s always the first to chase a toy, climb a cat tree, or tumble into playtime. Once he’s had his fill of fun, Jack happily snuggles up for a purring nap, often right in your lap. Jack was rescued as part of our ongoing efforts to support communities affected by the recent Central Texas flooding. With local shelters overwhelmed, many already at capacity before the storms hit, we stepped in to reduce overcrowding. By bringing animals like Jack into our program, we helped free up critical space so that pets displaced by floods could be held safely and reunited with their families. Jack would love to go home with his sister Jill, but he’s confident and affectionate enough to thrive as a solo kitten too as long as he has a human (or another playful pet) to love.
