My story

Lance is the ultimate orange kitten in every way—full of personality, charm, and just the right amount of goofy energy. He’s playful, curious, and always ready to make you laugh with his silly antics. Whether he’s chasing shadows, pouncing on toys, or attempting an impressive (but clumsy) leap off the furniture, Lance brings joy and light wherever he goes. When the zoomies are over, Lance turns into a total sweetheart. He’s a loving little guy who wants nothing more than to be your best friend. Lance was rescued as part of our ongoing efforts to support communities affected by the recent Central Texas flooding. With local shelters overwhelmed—many already at capacity before the storms hit—we stepped in to help reduce overcrowding. By bringing animals like Lance into our program, we helped free up critical space so that pets displaced by floods could be held safely and reunited with their families.
