My story

Bow is just the dog you need to make your family complete! She has everything going for her… she is beautiful, friendly, engaging, and has a curious, outgoing nature. And at 44 pounds, she is a great size. A rescue partner brought this cutie to our shelter all the way from Puerto Rico! She hit it off right away with our staff by welcoming all handling and asking for attention. She would lean in closely and try to climb in our caretaker’s lap to get more pets. She got along well with another dog when introduced, so she might enjoy having a friendly canine sibling. If you have other dogs, we recommend bringing them with you to visit to help ensure compatibility. Bow is a sweetheart, so come and adopt her today!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
