My story

Hi, I'm Beth! My brother and I were rescued, but we are learning the ropes at our new foster home. The shelter thought I might be born about 3/31/25, and a mix of German Shepherd, Labrador, Pit Bull, and even Chihuahua. What a mix right? I’m still learning the basics, but I love to be held and snuggle! I love all of the dogs I’ve met and people of all ages. Do you like water? I love swimming! And splashing. And lazing in the pool on a hot summer day! And you can see from my pool photos that I love dogs of all sizes. The big guy is Percy--he's also looking for his furever home (sponsered by another rescue group). After running around and playing hard, I’m ready to just relax and take a long nap! If you think I could be the one for you, apply today! ***PLEASE NOTE*** This pup has not yet been altered and requires an extra $100 spay/neuter deposit. JCAPL will pay for the procedure at a partner clinic and once completed, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter. However, a non-local adopter is required to pay for the spay/neuter at their own veterinarian by a specific date. After proof of the procedure is provided, $50 of the adoption fee will be refunded with the deposit. *** Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in.
