My story

Hi, I'm Opal! I’ve been with my foster family since I was a little pup (11/30/24), and I have a ton of fun running and playing with their other two dogs. I even sometimes nap with their cat, when she lets me. I love going on walks and playing in the back yard. I have met so many people both big and small and they are all so nice. Even though I’m full of energy, I make sure to be careful with the little ones. Don’t want to knock them over! My foster parents tell me I’m really smart. I’ve been assessed as a therapy dog, and right now I’m working on my public access. I love pets and cuddles. I also love being around other animals and people. I sleep in my crate at night like a good girl and patiently wait to be let out in the morning. I also go in my crate for a treat when my foster parents have to go out without me. It helps me stay calm, and I don’t feel the need to rearrange the living room. If you are looking for a sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and energetic girl to add to your family, then I’m your gal.
