My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:5This 2-year-old, 53-pound pittie mix is as sweet and gentle as they come. Found as a stray, Ariana has shown that what she loves most in the world is people. She thrives on human connection, happily climbing into laps, giving soft kisses, and soaking up every bit of affection she can get. On a recent field trip, Ariana walked politely on leash, was easy to handle, and had a calm, steady presence. She was a quiet rider in the car, took treats gently, and brought a chill, affectionate energy. She enjoyed watching the world go by, relaxing in the grass, and napping by your side. Though she’s tolerant of other dogs, Ariana clearly prefers the company of people and would do well as a solo dog or with a gentle, well-matched canine friend. She’s a great fit for a lower-energy home looking for a loving, loyal companion. Ariana is a darling in every way! She's affectionate, well-mannered, and ready to bond deeply with a kind and gentle human.
