My story

At just under a year old, this 36-pound gentle girl is highly sensitive and timid—she may avoid touch at first, but she's beginning to show her playful side through gentle games of fetch and quiet curiosity. She takes treats softly, sits patiently, and is easy to love once she feels safe. Sula will need time, patience, and a calm environment to build trust with her people. She's been described as having some stranger-danger behaviors by her previous owner, so experienced adopters who understand fearful body language and are willing to go slow will be the best match. In playgroups, Sula is social, gentle, and respectful—happy to be around other dogs with a low-key vibe.
